Time Picks UCLA Engineering Climate Solution as One of 2023 Top Inventions
Congrats to UCLA startup Equatic.tech‘s #CO2 removal tech on being named one of TIME magazine’s Best Inventions of 2023. Developed at the Institute for Carbon Management led by Profs. Gaurav N. Sant and David Jassby of the UCLA Civil and Environmental Engineering Department as well as Dante Simonetti of chemical and biomolecular engineering, the tech uses seawater to store CO2 while producing green hydrogen.
